Rajiv Shekhar (Director)

A Management Graduate started his career with Tata Steel in 1994 and was associated till November, 2007. Also worked with Retail Division of Reliance and Aditya Birla Limited. Was In charge of 4000 MW Tilaiya Ultra Mega Power Plant of Reliance Power. Joined Usha Martin in October, 2010 as Head of Corporate Affairs.

Key Accomplishments:-

• Tata Steel: - In charge of Land Acquisition and IR in Tata Steel. Liaising with district level officials.

• Reliance and Aditya Birla Retail: - Property acquisition for retail space.

• Reliance Power: - Land acquisition for Power Plant and Ash Dyke in Hazaribag and Koderma District of Jharkhand. Liaising with District and State Govt. officials.

• Usha Martin: -

1. Private land acquisition and settlement of Govt. land for Coal and Iron Ore Mine.

2. Environment Clearance for production expansion of Iron Ore Mine.

3. Environment Clearance for production expansion of Gamharia Steel Plant.

4. Liaising with State Govt. officials for matter related to Land Acquisition, Environment & Forest, Mines, State Pollution Control Board, Central Pollution Control Board for all statutory clearances for all the units of Usha Martin in Jharkhand.

5. Timely transfer of Gamharia Steel Plant, Iron Ore Mine and Brinda Sisai Coal Mine by ensuring that statutory clearances of all the above units are in order at the time of transfer.
