Fairmine Group Resources Limited has been declared Preferred Bidder through the auction for Aggregate mining over an area of 15.00 Acres (6.07 HA) in Mouza - Lolo, Block – Ramgarh and has obtained letter of intent from Government of Jharkhand vide letter no. Kha.Ni (Nilami) – 04/2019/1852, dated 6th August, 2019.
Geologically Demarcated Block area falls under “Chotanagpur Granite Gneissic Complex” of Archean age. Local geology of the area is marked by the presence of Granite gneiss Rock covering almost entire the area. The Granite gneiss Rock present in the area is medium to coarse grained, hard & compact and dark greyish in color.
Study revealed that the Granite Gneiss of Ramgarh District, popularly known as Aggregate are being used in most of the constructional activities including roads, railways and irrigational projects within and outside the state of Jharkhand. Apart from the increasing demand of road metal for different road projects within state there exists a substantial demand of rail ballast from railways. Moreover, partly weathered boulders, being recovered from the overburden have good market as pitching storage in river embankment.
The mining lease will be executed after obtaining the approval of mining plan & environment clearance. Total of Resource of 3.00Million Tons of General Stone under Category C-1 is estimated in the area. Mineable reserve would be 2.61Million tones.
